Keep in mind, the Rockets only have the "under the cap midlevel" to offer free agents: 2 years, $5.3M total. That should price out Wilson Chandler and Brooks, and I'd imagine that Martin and Smith would go to a contender for the minimum, rather than be buried on the bench in Houston.

I don't think he can be dumber than Von Wafer..... and he is a scoring machine off the bench. Raining threes...... Bud wished he had that in his pocket

JR is instant offense. I am so tired of these 3rd, 4rth quarter droughts. Find a way to keep Dragic (playmaker, defense) ship out expiring Lee, add JR and beef up the interior D at the 4 assuming Parson can hold down the 3.

He is exactly the same stupidity of Wafer, just not very smart at all.

Plus he is a clubhouse cancer....DO NOT WANT.

I agree with the cancer statement.... but the Nuggs had him under control, so he can be controlled after all
and he is one of the better 3 point shooter

He is what we envisioned But would become but did not...... without the headcase

Smith is good enough to score at a high rate with reasonable efficiency and with only 50% of his buckets assisted.

He is a proven commodity and a specialist
That what he is. He is not a star, superstar or allstar so his demands won't ruin a franchise. He is not even a full fledged starter to begin with.
I rest my case......I don't think we can get Wilson so off to younger players.... the likes Philly has in bunches.

Try not to love and hate players too much. They are ass-ETs that can go up or can be dropped.

Agree on Chandler and 'no' to JR... but suprised there's no love for the original KMart? I'd offer up at least the league minimum..prob get more elsewhere, but worth a flier....

Possible, but I don't think the Rockets are interested in adding AB and the Denver would rather keep Chandler than trade him for a modest price.

Either case, none of these moves really propel the team by a huge step, just incremental improvement at best. These guys are also most likely looking for teams offering either big salary or opportunities at big minutes.

JR Smith is the guy we can get. Thats who i want. I want Morey to play his stack his assets game. He isnt doing it good enough. Get as many of these guys as he possibly can.

He also has the bball IQ of a gnat and at the same time is a wannabe gangsta. Pass. I hope he goes where he wants to go and that's to the Knicks. His chucking may be good for a few more losses for them.
