Should rockets give Simmons a call?

When AR first came out he was a tweener, now he is the new age forward that can play stretch 4 and small ball 5. 6'10 with 7'3 wingspan, explosive lefty that likes to rim run.

Perfect PF for MDA system now that hes developed 3 ball while playing overseas.

Compared to Lamar Odom (height, handles, vision) and Tayshaun Prince ( super skinny, long) during 2008 draft. Still only 30 years old.

I’ve been advocating that Morey trade for him for a few years.

I really like his game and think he has a lot to offer, but was buried on the bench last year for the 76er’s so his stock is very low.

I doubt we give him a call, but I would welcome this.

 

We already have a guy who can defend and rebound but can’t shoot the 3 well riding our bench.

Play Gary Clark, can we at least see if he’s good

 

Based on all the posts, it sounds like everyone is on agreement for once. Daryl, we know your reading this, please try him out if we can pull him from TBT. If he can still defend like he defended Harden in 2015, he will be useful against the likes of Clippers and Lakers.

 

Not really, had a some very good games for Magic after he signed his FA deal. I'm shocked he's out the league right now considering we have scrubs like Clark on our roster.

But something must be up because he hasn't been able to stick with Magic, Sixers, and then the Wizards. Maybe playing for his hometown gets him refocused and brings Spurs version back.
