Would you do Sheed+Billups for Yao?

We know Yao-less Rockets can win, but can Sheed+Billups take us further?

    Nothing against Yao!

Actually it would be not that bad idea, McGrady for Billups and Sheen is not that bad either.

But do you belive Detroit would agree?

Sheed plays a position that we already have covered. His 4 points in last nights game 6 at home won't get us any closer to getting out of the first round. Yao is unstoppable in single coverage. Getting people to knock down open shots is more important.

    1. I wouldn't do this. Sheed and Billups are old, uninspired and on the decline.
    2. Even if this move was indisputably beneficial for the Rockets, it could never happen because Yao is the franchise cash cow. Thus, any proposed trade involving Yao is completely pointless.

Well, If Sheed get his head together, hees pretty good at 4 and we played without Yao quite long to know we can do it with good 4s..
    Landry + Deke at 5?

I'll consider it if they add Stuckey into it .

Then trade Rafer and Scola and for Kaman . Split MLE for Pietrus and Diop , sign Landry for LLE and ask Yao a shoe sponsorship for Landry as a last favour , I'm pretty sure he'll accept it .

    Kaman / Diop / Deke
    Sheed/Landry
    Battier/Green/Novak
    T-Mac/Pietrus/Head
    Billups/Stuckey/Aaron

At least we can get the ring next year with this mix , after Billups,T-Mac and Sheed's contracts finished we have enough space and good young guns to re-build Rockets .

Oh I think it again and I give up , I dont wanna trade the China Wall .

Rockets have already shown that they can play without Yao. Of course without Yao in the playoffs we are nothing but with Sheed+Billups it could be interesting

what the crap is wrong with yall

i think yao is just going to get better every year

and what's with all the PG/PF talk, i think we've got it covered in those areas

we need to focus on the SG/SF or C positions

maybe try to get someone like manu, redd, or marion

those would be major assets to the team!!

i would rather have a consistent yao playing the game rather than an inconsistent sheed and billups whom I still don't get how the Pistons keep making it so far in the playoffs

you've seen how we've played the pistons-we can beat them even if we don't hit free throws

How far has a team with yao gotten? Not saying I would do the deal, but its not like Yao and Tmac have taken us anywhere.

It would never happen. Yao = too much money for Les.

    P.S. don't do drugs, kids.
