Shaq is easily the worst part of the TNT crew. He can't even have fun properly when they do silly things like the pop shot D&B game.
I do not like Shaq on that TNT crew. He does not fit. He needs to leave Javalee alone. He is playing good ball with the Warriors now.
He's a jerk. When the other two want to make their lame arguments Shaq talks over them, sighs, shakes his head, etc. It's insufferable. He's a 7foot, marble mouthed, NBA player version of Donald Trump.
Im sure shaq has put in orders to off people. Literally the biggest bully out there. Will always be a punk to me.
Shaq isn't funny, he never has been. I don't understand why some people pretend he actually is. He is insufferable, and provides no insight. Barkley provides no worthwhile insight either, but he very rarely acts like a jerk, and is funny (albeit usually unintentionally) McGee has every right to be pissed. Granted some of the clips were funny AF, but he is on there regularly for common mistakes. He has been made out to be a national joke because of those segments and Shaq just yuks it up. McGee has actually turned into a sympathetic figure, while Shaq comes off as a bully.
They'd do better to replace him with someone that is fun and lighthearted, you know the person that we all that Shaq was from the funny clips of him. Turns out he is a bully that wants everyone to think he's a gangster.
Barkley is like Steve Harvey, looks like a dumb f**k and sounds like one but at least he is goofy and entertaining at times. Shaq is the kind of dumb f**k like a black Trump. Just horrible.
For years, I've been an advocate for TNT to remove Shaq from Inside the NBA. You guys all have points: he's insufferable, interrupts frequently, is very childish. I absolutely started hating this guy on there. But this past week, I saw his interview with Graham Bensinger at his own house, and man, Shaq is a genuine and humble guy. He's a nice guy. He just has his antics. This week, I've been watching old clips of 'Inside' and I can see the value and entertainment they bring every week. It can get snippy, annoying, belligerent, but these guys have chemistry. (I urge you, skeptic, to watch the Christmas gift specials from years past). I've come around to Inside the NBA. To be honest, they are just large children, but it's fun to watch. Maybe I'm in a good mood because I'm excited for our team, but I don't know, we can't take it too seriously or it'll drive you mad. To me it's better than watching Amin Elhassan, TMac, or Kellerman.
This is an actual quote from Shaq when Charles told him he wasn't funny. "I know I'm funny, I've worked with Adam Sandler"
Here's an article summarizing the beef: http://deadspin.com/javale-mcgee-and-shaq-beef-on-twitter-after-shaq-roasts-1792710642
