OK! He'll be gone, I guess. Where? I don't know. ------------------ Technically speaking, we're #1! ~Portland fans
Not a stupid topic, just unanswerable. No one has a clue. Charlotte (if Eddie RObinson leaves for hometown Detroit?) New Jersey? Atlanta? ------------------
Maybe Portland if they can somehow free up some cap space. They are in dire need of role players that won't complain about minutes. ------------------
Only problem is they are 1 billion or so above the cap. Maybe they sign in 7 years as Smith and Pippen leave the NBA and begin drawing SS ------------------
I didn't think about that, Charlotte might be good fit for Shandon. What killed the Hornets in the playoff was their inability to stop Ray Allen. David Wesley was too small and ERob isn't a good defender. Also Atlanta is less than a 4 hours drive from Charlotte. [This message has been edited by Cat5 (edited May 29, 2001).]
i think he asked for $7 million per year. that won't happen. maybe he'll settle for about $4 million a year. ------------------
I say let him go because I think we have a great shot at drafting either Jefferson, Johnson or Richardson and those players fit this offense much better than Anderson. ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
Oh man I just watched the Final Four game tape AZ vs. MSU...WE NEED JEFFERSON!!! The guy is fantastic on defense. He knocked in a couple three balls to put the game away too. If anyone is a Kobe-stopper in this draft, it's RJ. And of course he had an unbelievable block on Richardson. ------------------ "They couldn't shoot, rebound, or pass, but other than that, they played great!" -Bill Walton
Yeah Jefferson is a good Defensive stopper and can fit our team well, I hope they draft him cause he has superstar qualities.
I think Shandon Anderson will return to the Houston Rockets. Anderson is vital to this team. His versatility makes him an asset in Rudy Tomjanovich's system. He can run, shoot, play defense and do whatever the team needs. Anderson is a terrific shooting guard who helps out when the Rockets have to play against opposing shooting guards like: Kobe Bryant, Shawn Marion, Micheal Finley, Derek Anderson, Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell. With his great one-on-one defense Anderson makes it hard for the opposing guard to score. When he is playing good offensively, it frustrates the opposing player. If Tomjanovich is low on small forwards he can slip Anderson to that spot. When Tomjanovich slipped Anderson over to small forward, the Rockets were playing better ------------------
But SA did play a bit below average last season ... you can't deny it. Maybe the Spurs will have a vacancy for Shandon, considering their potential move after a disgusting ending of the season. ------------------ Technically speaking, we're #1! ~Portland fans
