We’re they really? Better than who? 26 teams maybe? You can see the wall they hit when they faced gsw, no doubt in my mind boogie would of helped
DeMarcus Cousins free agency outlook? Woj: One of the most unique free agents we've seen in a lot of years. All-Star/All-NBA level player coming off that kind of injury. He was a surefire 4-year max player before that injury. New Orleans is looking & saying 'Can we get him on a shorter deal? Can we see if he can rebound before we commit multiple years?' The market place, the teams with salary cap space are rebuilding & aren't looking to bring in a veteran star. Dallas will be interesting. They have tried on Dwight Howard & DeAndre Jordan. Missed on those players. They have a chance now with Cousins. They have interest in Cousins. What happens on draft night will factor into that. Do they take Mo Bamba or end up with a perimeter player & go into free agency after Cousins? Bobby Marks: His value is on a short term deal, which could be a benefit for both side. It's a lot of money to commit coming off the Achilles. The success rate is not there. From Cousins side, is there a 2-year deal out there for New Orleans at $55$-$60M? That'd put him back in free agency in 2020 when this market resets & all the 2016 contracts are off the books. Woj: Don't discount sign and trade opportunities for Cousins. Teams who don't have cap space but could make a deal, send something back to New Orleans. I think New Orleans is determined to keep him & pay what they need to do to have that. That's a big chip to let walk out the door & get nothing.
