    Well, I don't think so. I am mixed, my father is black and my mother is white, but for some reason I don't look like what most consider a typical mixed person, I look like I am Hispanic/Latino. I have had instances where people assume I am. There was the gas station employee who immediately started talking to me in Spanish, those people in Spanish class who wanted to try and cheat off of me, etc.

    I mean, there are mixed people who look Hispanic/Latino, Hispanic/Latino people can sometimes pass for Italian, there are some Hispanic/Latino who look African-American, etc. etc. etc. I just hate when people assume that they know who I am.

    iam the waitress that waited on this couple. I gave them thhe exact same service i would give to anyone. i did apologize to them serveral times crying my eyes out. they cursed me out made a scene and embarassed me. thank you everyone for the supporting comments, you made my night. come to blackjacks and i will gladly be your waitress, ask for leslie :]

    just ask if he is white and get it over with. Minority just means not a white person so get it over with and uncover your true intentions.
