Screw the Chinese government. I stand with Morey and Hong Kong and the NBA should support HOU.

    At first I thought what Morey tweeted was stupid, even though I agree with his stance. I also agreed with Tilman being upset with him, even though I disagreed with how he went about it.

    But there is no way the Rockets should let the Chinese government strong-arm them in this way to get them to get on their knees and apologize.

    That is a toxic relationship and the rest of the NBA should speak up in support of the Rockets. That will make the Chinese make a choice. If you ban the Rockets, you’ll have to ban all of us.

    I know they won’t, because it’s all about $$$$$$$$, but this is America and the NBA shouldn’t have to put a lid on their morals and bow to the Chinese government.

    First, let’s wait for Yao to make a formal announcement that he will give up the US Citizenship of her daughter to show his loyalty to the Chinese government.

    I'm gonna go out on a limb and say theres no wrong party here.

    Morey can say whatever the hell he wants. Hes not jailed, excommunicated, or punished by American law, as his right of free of speech.

    Fertila can make any decision he wants and be correct. He is a businessman and he owns a private company. If an employee cost him money through bad PR, he can fire Morey. He probably wont imo, but hes within his rights to.

    Chinese government can do whatever they want with regards to Chinese media. That's their jurisdiction.

    Chinese people can think what they want, and hate who they want. Just like Rockets fans can hate the Jazz and every other team fans hating Harden because he "travels" every other step. Theres nothing wrong with hating anyone for any reason. If Chinese people believe the protestors are making a fuss and messing up order, that's what they can believe. Unless you believe Americans should tell the rest of the world how they should think. Man are we back in the cold war era thinking again?

    Everyone here acted as they are allowed. And in the end what does it matter that everyone had acted according to what makes sense to them?

    What you don’t know is why most of the medias in China never liked any news : bad or good, to be posted or breaking on social media.

    It’s because they wanted to ‘lead’ instead of being ‘leaded’ by any kind of comments.
