Not quite, yet. He has to win the job (third string QB), first.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering what he had been up to. I hope he makes it in GB.

He's got one of the quickest releases but if you're a quarterback and you decide to go to Tech...you pretty much destroy your NFL chances. We run ZERO under the center sets

Never understood the reasoning on bashing Tech QB's. Not one of them whether it be Kingsbury,Symons, hodges, cumbie, harrell was projected to do anything in the nfl. I dont think any of them were even drafted if they were it was definitely a day 2 pick. And pretty sure only one to take a NFL snap was kingsbury.......

NFL scouts have gotten smarter. Throwing for a million yards used to to impressed them and resulted in higher picks (klinger ware couch etc)....If Kingsbury was around in 1990 he probaly would have been a top pick but now talent overrides stats which is well pretty smart!

If Leach would have ever gotten an elite talent they would have put up a million yards and been a top pick but they never had a guy like that...........

Well, like I said earlier, Leach didn't run any pro-sets, our offense was strictly shotgun which is only run for probably a quarter percent of the time in the NFL. Teams are probably scared off that a guy hadn't had to drop back from center or have the experience of reading defenses and making throws after doing 5 step drops for their entire college careers...something they will be doing a ton of in the NFL. I think that's why the higher star high school quarterback prospects who have NFL hopes don't come here. Harrell will always be a hero here for being apart of this...

(it won't let me embed) but watching that gives me chills everytime. Greatest game I've ever been too/seen

I think Harrell more capable of playing QB in the NFL than Jamarcus Russell or Tim Tebow.

You're right about Russell since he's no longer in the NFL but we're gonna have to wait to see about Tebow.

As wallyj posted, Leach's system really hindered his QB's NFL chances. It was as "pure" as a spread offense you could get and it did not translate well to the NFL. Harrell was actually well regarded coming out of Tech but he looked/played absolutely terrible at the Senior Bowl which killed his stock.

Don't you kind of answer your own quandry? You don't understand the reasoning behind bashing Tech QB's yet NFL scouts have gotten smarter and don't look at the ridiculous stats they're putting up. They get bashed because they're worthless beyond the video game offense in Lubbock...yet they and they're former coach b**** and whine about not getting respect from the NFL.

He won't accumulate more time on the field than either. So I doubt it.
