'Saved by Zero': The Toyota Ad That Won't Stop

If it makes you feel any better, I did break the scoop on this website about our arena being called the Toyota Center. You get the good with the bad.

Another thing that made me scratch my head, but that gets a lot less attention, is how the John Goodman voiceovers on the newest Toyota 15-second spots keep referring to a certain viscocity-helper as "tranny fluid".

It's like they made a point to keep calling it "tranny fluid". This is almost as vexing to me as the SBZ ads.

Tranny fluid. Tranny fluid. Tranny fluid.
