All of the above mentioned could be on the move this offseason via trade. Does anyone have any info as to whether or not they will be traded and if the Rockets or anyone else may have a chance at any of them? I think SAR will give Memphis a try and KVH and Marbury divorce each other. Marbury didn't want to play with KG and now he doesn't like KVH. Fizer still has the body of a 4 and needs to be traded but it makes too much sense for Krause to actually pull off. The Sonics might be cleaning house with Ewing, Baker, and maybe even Payton on the move. [This message has been edited by Greg#3 (edited May 30, 2001).]
Vin Baker is not what the Rockets need. he has not been very good the last three years, and he is soft, plus he has too many personal issues like a bout with depression, and bad Ft shooting....he is a mental headcase. ------------------ You can put it on the BOARD.......YESSSSSSSSS! Keith Van Horn:has been and will continue to be on trading block through the summer. It will take a combination of picks/players to get him. Our usual amalgam of KT/Wiz/Los will not get it done. Nonetheless I see CD making some offers for KVH this summer and he would split time between the 3 and 4 spots Vin Baker:good as gone; Sonics have no interest in keeping him, and some desperate team, probably the Knicks will trade for him. Overweight, overpaid, and underworked. Contract is exponentially worse than Cato's. Shareef Abdur-Rahim:probably staying in Memphis next year to see how things pan out. Could be moved, however, for the right price. Grizz will entertain offers for the next year or so. I predict that he'll be traded to a contender just before the February 2002 trade deadline. Dale Davis:Too many PF's on the Blazers, DD is the odd man out. Marcus Fizer:failed experiment at the 3 spot. Talks of a Wally/Avery for Fizer/Artest swap are heating up again. ------------------ "Oh No..." -Bill Walton in 97 just before Stockton's buzzer beater
KVH is a possibility. It has been posted that Rudy likes him, and that he could be obtained for a reasonable price (whatever that might be). I think he's gonna be 75% BYC so the Nets could take on no more than about 8-ish million dollars worth of our players (or less, considering our cap space). How much interest we have obviously depends on what happens with other players, but just thought I'd mention it. ------------------ [This message has been edited by ROXTXIA (edited May 30, 2001).]
