    Talk is cheap, just follow the money, as even Trump 2.0 is investing in the sanctuary city, San Francisco.

    It is is preparing to plant a major artificial intelligence outpost in San Francisco, positioning the federal government inside the country’s most influential AI cluster. The planned national center is meant to function as both a policy nerve center and a front door for industry, signaling that Washington wants to shape how cutting edge systems are built, traded, and governed rather than just reacting from afar.

    Commerce’s California office plans, which sit alongside debates between Trump and Gavin Newsom over issues like gas production and an oil pipeline, show how AI policy is now intertwined with energy and industrial strategy rather than treated as a narrow tech issue.

    The San Francisco hub is one node in that larger contest over who controls the infrastructure that advanced computing requires.

    @adoo faints.

    A new Emerson College Polling/Inside California Politics survey of the primary for Governor finds Republican Steve Hilton leading the field at 17%, followed by Rep. Eric Swalwell at 14%, Sheriff Chad Bianco at 14%, former Rep. Katie Porter at 10%, and Tom Steyer at 9%. Twenty-one percent are undecided. Since December, support for Hilton and Steyer increased by five points, support for Swalwell increased by two points, and support for Porter decreased by one point

    S.F. driver who killed family of 4 in West Portal crash likely to avoid prison time

    The first thing Mary Fong Lau did after she killed 4 people? Transferred all her assets and multi million dollar properties to external LLC's and her son in law so she wouldn't be financially liable. Now she won't be serving any time after lucking into an Asian SF judge. This is the famed Chinese morality @adoo preaches about.

    [IMG]

    Mary Fong Lau, 80, changed her plea from not guilty to no contest Friday afternoon and a San Francisco Superior Court judge indicated he was unlikely to impose prison time. Prosecutors said she crashed into a West Portal bus stop in March 2024, killing a mother, father and their two young children as they waited for transportation to the San Francisco Zoo. A no-contest plea indicates that while a criminal defendant does not admit guilt, they waive their right to a trial and allow the court to treat them as if they were guilty for the purposes of sentencing.

    In July 2024, the surviving parents of Cardoso de Oliveira and Ramos Pinto filed a wrongful death civil suit against Lau. In May 2025, the relatives filed another civil lawsuit, this time asking a judge to void financial transfers that Lau made after the first civil lawsuit was filed.

    Survivors of the slain family accused Lau of transferring her ownership interest in several properties to new limited liability companies and selling properties to third-parties, including her son-in-law, transferring millions of dollars to avoid potential financial penalties from the civil suit.

    No wonder he spends so much time promoting SF in a Texans forum. He's got the system rigged in his benefit.

    Looks exactly like the family Mary Fong Lau killed, right before she transferred all her assets to avoid being held financially accountable. She won't be serving any jail time either. A true story of progressive degeneracy and Chinese quid pro pro in SF.
