altho not as big as the billion $ investment in Long Beach, CA, Anduril had made another investment in Victorville, Calif
to develop its ‘Fury’ YFQ-44 prototype CCA

Andruil flies its collaborative combat aircraft for the first time

btw, Anduril sub-contracts some of its works to selected AI firms in San Francisco, the AI capital of the world.

tmac moves the goal post again, first it was every Californian thinks Newsom is a disaster, then this back-pedal
once again, you've shown that you have poor reading comprehension

Palmer Luckey of Anduril is repeatedly in the news for being critical of California policies. Like every smart person, he knows the only reason California has any leverage whatsoever is because of the tech industry built up due to good weather --- now they're using everything in their power to piss it away.

On illegal immigration -- "we cannot let them stay" , using common sense.

Hilarious the hivemind is trying to use him as a pro California policy advocate... but that is what they are, a spineless group of cheerleaders who couldn't care less about truth. He is as anti Commie policy as they come.

Moving manufacturing outside of California to Ohio

The only reason anything is being built in Long Beach is because Luckey is an alumni of college there and talks had been in place for many years with an established network of personnel.

on the other, he has just invested another $ billions in Calif.
    follow the money !

While Palmer Luckey and Gavin Newwom don't agree on eveything,
they're of the same mind as it relates to the proposed billionaires tax
since the 1950s. Calif's abillity to incubate/build/grow the tech industries is attributable to the totality of its policies
    :rolleyes::rolleyes:

facts on the ground contrdicts yout convenient spin.
    • San Francisco evolving to beome the AI capital of the world
    • Palmer Luckey just doubled down on his bet on Calif.
    • as for Calif critic, Elon Musk,
      • after moving his co to Tx, just returned Tesla's R&D headquarter back to the Golden state
      • his Space-X is still situated in El Segundo, CA

San Fran has been silicon valley since the 70's. It has all the wealth and tech connections in place - nothing "evolved" if it was already there. Tech is the only industry that has the margins for California to impose progressive policies that don't matter when starting salaries are at 300k and profit per employee is in the millions.

It has a plethora of riches that led to policies driving people away, and of course that's the only thing that leads to politician pushback. They want the money since they can never generate it--

Gavin Newsom moves to neutralize tax on billionaires - POLITICO

California Gov. Gavin Newsom doubles down on his criticism of the proposed billionaire wealth tax | Fortune

Tesla is still headquarterd in Texas. They only opened up an engineering headquarter in Pal Alto to make use of the existing talent pool and straight out of college crowd. It's smart really -- keep the high paying exec jobs in one place and the bulk of jobs, lower paying, in free market states. Overall, the revenue hit adds up eventually as bulk of tax returns are middle class.

Who needs a middle class? Just have your elites and poor living off of welfare.

silicon valley is between where Stanford U is and San Jose, 45 miles east of San Francisco.
the high tech industry there started in the early 1950s

 stop embarrassing youself, there were less than 10 AI firms in SF as recently as Trump 1.0

No ****. That has nothing to do with policy and everything to do with existing infrastructure and the talent pool. This is what the tech industry and AI aim to do -- create a c suite class of executives with nice salaries and slaves living off welfare. No in between.

There have been 300,000 tech layoffs in 24 and 25, 700,000 if you include covid, despite exploding revenues and investment for AI. It's a race to completely get rid off the in between.

What you are praising is exactly what leads to civil unrest.

Is there a “name” for all the tech layoffs for the last 3-5 years? A way to describe the sweeping and systematic phenomena affecting thousands seemingly every week? : r/sanfrancisco

Glad I can teach you something , but there's no point if your hive mind won't let you see it.

if there are existing infrastructure, as you claim with no evidence,
why do the AI companies need to make the $211 Billion investments?

San Francisco, post COVID, has been transforming downtown towards a 24/7 neighborhood where people live, work, and play.

Downtown San Francisco generates 40% of the City's tax revenue

The thin-skinned president had been warned by advisor

"Clips of Trump being loudly booed in front of tens of thousands of spectators—and potentially
more than 100 million viewers at home—going viral would be “another thing we don’t want right now,”

Trump was met with a mixture of boos and cheers when he attended last year’s Super Bowl.
