I'm not really an alumni, but was a faculty brat as my dad taught History at SHSU for almost 30 years. I must say that was the most exciting game I've seen in forever. As Oiler and Texans fans know, when big comebacks happen, its usually the other team with the win. Two friends of mine, both alumni, actually switched channels at Halftime and missed it.
Was watching the game and feeling let down at half time. Glad I didn't turn it off! Hope they continue with that momentum into next week!
I had to leave to do Mother's Day stuff when it was 10-3. Pulled up my phone at the restaurant and saw it was 24-3 at halftime and almost passed out. Got home just in time to see the final minute. Lucky for me I recorded it and watched the whole 2nd half later that night. I'm not a huge Keeler guy, but he called it at halftime. Said he never had any doubt we were going to win the game. And I believe him.
Of course the glass half full of me is saying we’ve got all day Houston football on TV Patience is a virtue people
Craziest thing is they used to call me call me Bart Simpson in junior high and then I was anointed vanilla ice
