Makes sense, they want a vet and they might have a deal on the table for Schaub, it would be a step back at the QB position, but it's just a stop-gap
Can't depend on whatever rookie they bring in out the gate and I don't won't to see Schaub, and considering what else is out there _ it's an ok move... I guess.
People want Schaub gone, but they also don't want any vet that's available. Do you really just want us to go into the season with nothing but Case and a Rookie?
Hardly a no-brainer. He's likely going to make more money than we can realistically afford. If Mccown and Henne to paid $4m plus, Vick should get at least $6mm. Fitzpatrick is probably a safer play than Schaub at this point, albeit unspectacular. I'm fine with Fitz while we groom a draft pick or even waiting until next year's draft to (hopefully) grab a true franchise QB.
