Sort of, World Games he got a Bronze w/ college players due to lockout. But in 2000, with an NBA roster he got us a Gold Medal! It actually wasn't until 2004 that Team USA lost with pro players in the Olympics (well Bronze), and it wasn't because of Rudy (he wasn't coaching that team). Regardless long overdue to get in. His playing career alone should have worked, but then to get a back 2 back chip, and a gold medal coaching.... He should have been inducted the first year he was eligible.
glad he can enjoy it b4 he got too old, they did bill fitch effing wrong waiting till he was so old he could not even travel to make the hall ceremony
About damn time.. I was just thinking about this today after hearing Kobe, Duncan and Garnett were making it in this year.
With all that's going on, I needed this. Congrats Rudy T! The history of basketball cannot be written without you and now you will forever be where deserve.
lol https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/hof_prob.html Active players with best HOF probabilities Lebron - 100% CP3 - 100% Durant - 100% Westbrook - 99.9% Harden - 99.9% Curry - 99.9% Howard - 99.4%
someone edit the man's wikipedia page, stat. but be thorough. The HOF award would be edited in several places...don't forget the sidebar. yep, I was about to correct him, too...that he got a Gold Medal in the Olympics. and btw: that semi-final loss vs Russia, USA was up 10 pts with under 2 minutes, and we got horribly robbed on some bad calls, lost by 2. It was stolen from us, and I'm sticking to that.
I honestly can’t comprehend the logic behind CP3 - 100% Harden - 99% Curry - 99% Harden has been an MVP candidate for the past 5 yrs and IMHO should have won more than once! The lack of respect for him is unreal!! ....... ....... .......
