    I'm one of those people who really really want this to happen. I've been waiting for this since last year. But I respect your opinion. But it is a business decision. Nothing personal on him but he sucks as a coach. I think anyone with no experience can coach that team better than him. It is time for a change. Do not be sentimental.

    It's not like Rudy died or something. Hell, he's not even leaving the Rockets organization. Hell, he's not even unemployed. He'll still get paid his millions in a cushy front office.

    I'm sure Rudy's a nice guy and all, wish him the best, etc etc blah blah blah...but no sympathy here.

    I wouldn't classify it as a cheap shot. From what I know, he's kicked the habit. To me, Rudy definitely seems as one of those cool guys you'd run into at the bar. I don't think he'd take it as being disrespectful if they did name the bars after him, but I wasn't being that serious.

    I do hope they honor him as a coach in some manner...

    That is what people have been asking for two years now. Another year, another year. Another year of under-achieving. No more. The fans deserve better than that. Nothing against him. Nothing personal. But this team need a new coach.

    And I am SO HAPPY THAT IT WILL BE GRANTED. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

    good riddance to Rudy T. Now Les can find a "real" basketball coach who can teach the fundamentals and team ball to the two idiots - Mobeley and Francis!
