the comparison's between iverson & francis are interesting, but i've got a better comparison for you: compare jason williams and steve francis. whereas iverson is looking primarily to score so that he can score again (just ask larry brown), both francis and williams are team players who score so that they can pass, too. so who is the better pg? if you put williams on the rockets, would we have a better record? same for steve. if he were on sacramento? personally, i'd take francis. i think he has much more upside, because he is a true student of the pro game, whereas i honestly think williams is a student of the playground game who is blessed with an MVP forward, a veteran unselfish center, and a gr8 supporting cast who can tolerate his erraticnesss. that said, they are both brilliant talents.
