The 'missle' has left the building and is heading to Japan. The last time something this destructive happened it was 1945! :D

The Japanese govt should enact a trade embargo to protect their fans' eyes.

Thank god...i mean that's the only thing he could have done was to leave the country after that showing in the Post Season. The entire nation had watched him single handedly ruin the Astros chances.

His agent probably let him know that not a single person would be intersted in him and he would always been known as the guy that lost all the games for the Astros in the post season.

I remember in game 6 against the Cardinals my friends actually closed their tabs and said it's over as soon he walked in and they couldn't be anymore right.

Funny, I was sitting my SUV listening to it (game 6)on the radio then I hear Miceli is coming in to pitch. I turned off the SUV and said game over time to go to work.

Great I spend a year in Tokyo and get stuck with Miceli as a pitcher for the NY Yankees of Japanese baseball next year...ugh. Wish I could watch some Astros games instead...

It's kinda funny, because on one Japanese website for the Yomiuri (Tokyo) Giants it states that he had 6 ML offers but turned them all down so he could have the great opportunity to play for the Yomiuri Giants. You think he would have gotten a million dollar contract anywhere in the big leagues (or heck any major league deal period) after his performance?

Oh link in case anyone can read Japanese:

Despite his postseason performance, I'm kind of sad to see him go.

There was a time at the beginning of the season when he, Lidge, and Dotel were simply dominant.

They were the top three strikeout pitchers in the league for relievers.

I still don't know what happened to him and Dotel.

    1.7 millions for Miceli.

Gosh. I thought that the Japanese were good with money.
