I give the term "woke" another 5 months before it goes down in the history books of another overused vague propaganda term joining its brother "sjw".

You are starting to see the normies cringe at the term now more and more. Boomers and Gen X are the masters of overusing a term to the point it becomes epic cringe. Even young conservatives are cringing.

Now it's time to guess what the next term is going to be. Anyone want to give a shot on what it's going to be?

all these dumb MFers using the word woke 24/7 can’t even define it

Xbox wants to reduce carbon emissions = woke

Biden’s bill had the word equality in it = woke

Green M&M changed her boots = woke

anything that doesn’t denigrate black people = woke

anything that’s geared towards inclusion and not hating someone because of their skin, gender, or sexual orientation = woke

Looney Tunes gave Elmer Fudd a scythe instead of a gun = woke

Black Panther has a majority black cast and female warriors = woke

the majority of the country just looks at these people like bumbling idiots

that clip of that girl being asked to define woke after using it 10x already and proceeding to stumble and discombobulate because she had no answer says it all

    fcking morons

    I predict it's "empath".

"Woke" before was used as a positive term that implies someone critical of the systems around them.

And before that "social justice warrior" implied someone like MLK who fought for Civil Rights for communities that didn't have the same level of rights and opportunities and the right tried to make that into a naughty term.

"Empath" means someone who tries to understand someone's perspective that is not theirs which is a good thing. So it matches their pattern of trying to change a positive term into something that should be feared.

That's my prediction. The next term will be "empath".

You obviously spent more than the 17 seconds I did thinking about it.

I do disagree with everything after the first sentence in the 3rd quote above...empathy is absolutely not "innate".

And no, in no way am I calling the vast majority of modern conservative Americans "evil" or equating them with Nazis.

But to the question, you may be sleeping on "equality".

So, the younger Republicans are concerned that overuse of the term "woke" will politically backfire. I do sense that. But given that DeSantis and Republicans in general have gone all in on wokeness, I think it will continue to be used politically through the 2024 election. Aside from the frequent use of 'everything I don't like is woke' by many people, I honestly don't know what the term means. I have some clues, but the term has become so politically charged and anchored to some silly things, like the color of M&M's, that it has lost all productive meaning. By "productive," I mean a meaning that is somewhat accurate and can be discussed in a productive manner.

PS. I really dislike how people use these terms to, at best, express frustration instead of taking the time to articulate their points. It's another casualty of superficial social media culture.

Bobbie Harder's problem is the concept of treating others as equals. If we do that she can't sit on her almighty high horse and treat others differently.

I'm sure establishment Republicans will listen to the younger generation. The Republican Party is all about listening to new voices and ideas, and staying in touch with modern times, opinions and viewpoints.

Most liberals are cucks so I will go with cucks as up next.
Not serious. But it won't be empaths. Most people display empathy contrary to chowds belief.

I am not sure if I have ever used the word woke as a descriptor so I don't mind it going bye-bye.

Most people employ empathy. Most people differ in how far that empathy reaches especially between political ideologies.

Also the term "woke" was considered a good thing before the right tried to change the meaning and implication of the term. So why is "empathy" off limits?

In fact the right is more than willing to be open about valuing "pragmatism" over empathy. I'm sure you've heard the "facts over feelings" line. Feeling here is basically a replacement for "empathy". "facts" in this sense is propaganda, not really facts or sometimes it's statistical data that at face value is true but with removal of all context.

    It involves the epic "tittyrock"

My grandad (or stepgrandad, but he was the only grandad I ever knew) Luke finding this rock. The Tittierock.

It was a piece of sandstone that, basically, looked like a tittie, nipple and all. (as soon as my brother gets home off of work, I'll get yall a picture)

Anytime one of us little grandkids would start crying about anything, Luke would say "I'm gettin the tiddyrock" and he'd make you hold it until you stopped crying, which didn't take long.

One of my favorite memories was me and Luke sitting at the kitchen table playing cards or dominoes or something, and my younger brother and cousin come running out of the back bedroom where they'd been playing: "LUKE, LUKE, Seth's crying! Go get the tittyrock!"...my cousin Seth comes hauling ass out of that bedroom with tears running down his eyes saying "I'M NOT CRYING, I'M NOT CRYING...."

If I could fabricate that handheld piece of **** as a way to keep kids in line, I'd be a....yeah
