The most talented young Lithuanian prospect, who's already getting substantial minutes in the Euroleague as a 19 year old. A few days ago he single handedly beat Spanoulis' Euroleague team (yeah, he's still playing) by hitting 2 free throws with 3 seconds left on the clock. So far he's projected to go late in the 2nd round or go undrafted, but he should start climbing the mock drafts as the new Euroleague season has just started.
He's projecting to be an above average shooter, or even a really good one. He's very selective with the shots he takes and rarely forces the issue, so his percentages are pretty good.
As I predicted Jokubaitis' stock has started to rise. He's now listed in the ESPN's top-50 (he was barely in the top-100 in the summer).
He’s going to have trouble getting his shot off with that release. Also really ugly hitch. Hopefully that can be fixed. He looks good otherwise.
Unfortunately, Jokubaitas has a "verbal agreement" on a contract with Barcelona which moves him into "draft and follow" territory which kills his nba draft value. My other guy Ochai Agbaji is going back to school... all my bottom-of-the-draft crushes are playing hard-to-get.
I was reading a thread on realgm about a player signing for a record high euro contact https://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2099423 Interesting, those are competitive contracts, can't blame guys for never wanting to come over, Barcelona is an incredible city, and to be making the same money, why come to Houston to be an end of bench guy? We can't get YULLED again
He won the EuroLeague's Rising Star award (like Garuba!) this year over Victor Wembanyama. But I heard Wembanyama had injuries (not sure how serious). And he was drafted by the Knicks, so he's probably cursed anyway.
Quite good but he's not a Dragic. I agree with some of the people here. He needs to fix his jumper so that it'll be more consistent. He also might get into trouble defensively. He's a little bit small and not long at least from watching his highlights.
