I don't know what they're smoking in the writer's booth at ESPN, but I want some!

Check out the end of this recap. Enjoy ...

The Rockets (5-5) are at .500 for the first time since Feb. 16 of last season, when they were 26-26.

I saw that, too. Hopefully, they'll fix that when they update the recap later as they put in quotes from the players and the coaches.

Yeah, right. It will probably end up looking like this :

Elated by his team's blowout victory, Houston coach Rudy Tomjonavich exclaimed, "Boy it's good to be back to .500. I don't think we've been here since February of last year!"

    :D

Is there an e-mail address we can write them and "kindly" let them know of their error?

They still haven't corrected it even though those geniuses have the correct stats in the standings portion of their site.

They did it again, in today's game preview...

The Rockets are .500 for the first time since last season and haven't been over .500 since they were 26-25 on February 13, 2001.

It really sucks that 45-37 is no longer considered "over .500." If only there was some kind of static set of laws to govern this crazy "math" thing.

don't read it the wrong way.......

The Rockets (5-5) are at .500 for the first time since Feb. 16 of last season, when they were 26-26.

this statement is almost accurate(besides the obvious fault in their record). go back to last season's record and The Rockets have stayed consistently OVER the .500 mark since February. if they do indeed get knocked down to .500, then the statement would be accurate.

ESPN is saying that the Rockets have been winning since February

this is obviously a mistakeThe Rockets are .500 for the first time since last season and haven't been over .500 since they were 26-25 on February 13, 2001.

They get fed this bs from the NBA.

From the NBA site: "The Rockets are .500 for the first time since last season and haven't been over .500 since they were 26-25 on February 13, 2001.".

??? What a bunch of weirdos. Are they using Michael Murphy's calculator again?

    ROTFLMAO!!! :D
