Zion is barely turning 23 soon. I didn't mention Alpi bc the fit.. Though I wouldn't see the fit with Harden either. Zion+Kyrie could be cap crippling while they chill at home the bulk of the season collecting their free checks. Very high risk, medium high reward, but its certainly a desperate swing at relevancy for Tilman.

 

Not for a bunch of additional picks. They can have the #4 and one of our young players. Zion hasn't proven that he can stay healthy or in shape long enough to risk more than that.

Zion needs to talk to Chuck about how Moses got him into basketball shape and they found out 250 was Chucks playing weight and Chuck was as heavy as Zion is now. He can't stay over 280 and expect to have a long career. Thats proven. Whats worrisome is a lack of attempt to even try much lower weight.
Chuck ate to 300lbs so Philly wouldn't draft him bc of pay. That speaks a lot about Chucks overall mentality, but at his best only Michael could get in his way.
I dont think Zion has ever wanted to be in New Orleans. Part of me feels like he's been tanking his own value in the organization bc he wants out. Maybe he's Chuck like in mentality but that doesn't mean he can't be a mega star like Chuck was.
