    It has everything to do with Marc Gasol. If we signed Morris then his cap hit won't allow us to sign Marc to an offer sheet even if we amnesty Thabeet.

    Seems Memphis is content on forcing him to stay in Memphis regardless if they don't get anything in return. They probably think they have next season to convince him to stay at the very least. At least by not signing anyone this offseason we'll have space for next offseason to make a splash right?

    This could mean a deal has been lined up to dump salary, amnesty Thabeet and Nene is ready to sign!!!!!

    or Nene has committed elsewhere.

    He is the same height and weight as Patterson. I don't think he should play the 3. Not saying that he can't, just that i think he should focus on the 4.

    No his best potential is at the 3. That's absolutely where he needs to focus his game on, being a better SF.

    Classic tweener. Patterson plays like a power forward. We'll see about Morris but the Rockets drafted him as a 3.
