All 4 have a history of being terrible so I’m still shocked that these were the moves we made

Korver can shoot no doubt. But he has to be close to 38 years old by now. I have not watched Cleveland this year but I a guessing that his feet have not gotten quicker. How can he defend when he gets switched onto opposing guards and wings? He also can’t create his own shot after a hard closeout.

I think JR is washed. He has a low BBIQ, and does not give consistent effort. Extremely streaky as well. I just don’t trust the guy.

If the goal is to find a replacement for Ariza/Luc I just don’t think these guys fit the bill. There has to be a better package of players out than can help us on both ends.

I don’t know his stats from the finals. After game 1 the rest were blowouts so I’d he had an impact I may have missed it.

Our rotation is really thin right now and we are going to need 1-2 more rotation guys eventually. Can't keep playing everyone playoff minutes the rest of the season. I'm fine with waiving Melo if he can't accept that he may not play every game, but him leaving leaves us one less guy to throw out there. Right now we are really at 7.5 guys..

    Paul/Gordon
    Harden/Gordon
    Ennis/Green (injured, plays few minutes)
    Tucker/Clark
    Capela/???

Just not enough guys for an 82 game marathon. Too bad Knight and Nene are apparently never going to play basketball again.

    Their individual defense...

Last 3 season of opponents fg% against JR Smith...
    2018-19 = 48.4% good
    2017-18 = 47.5% great
    2016-17 = 44.3% elite

    Opponents vs Korver
    2018-19 = 56.9% bad
    2017-18 = 45.3% elite
    2016-17 = 49.0% average

    Opponents vs Young
    2017-18 = 49.1% average
    2016-17 = 51.1% average

So, two of them are average defenders. One of them (JR) is a very good defender.

Don't forget about Vince Edwards. He was on the bench last night. He may not be ready for rotation minutes. But, he and Clark could be signed to regular full season contracts if Melo and others leave.
