Not sure if it deserves its own thread...lock if needed. Would be a solid get. Mentioned him in that FA thread.
Blazers. It is good. Pecelians cousions and anotonio davis do not work. Find ny Antonio does not really work
Hope we land this guy. I've been a CJ Miles fan since he signed at the University of Texas before jumping from HS to Pro.
Would like to get him. Hope the surprising Nene situation doesn't screw the pooch on this or other deals Morey may have in mind.
J.J. Redick's decision will be a domino that clarifies the market for C.J. Miles. According to a source, Miles is a Plan B for multiple teams who have made Redick a priority. Miles, a versatile defender who averaged 10.8 points and shot 41.3 percent from 3-point range for the Pacers last season, has positioned himself to receive a significant raise. - Tim MacMahon
Would be thrilled to add CJ Miles with those non guaranteeds in a sign and trade BUT, not sure we want to spend that much money on a back to the backups.
Wouldn't we be able to throw the BAE at him? If need be... Not that we would but (once/if) Melo is in tow we could sign him to bring even more bench depth to cover the constant switching onto several Warriors perimeter players.
Sure we could offer the BAE, but he's trying to get $10 million. Pretty sure that's what the TWolves are trying to accomplish. A way to sign and trade for him at around $10 million, maybe a little less.
Would we sign and trade our TPE to Indy for him? Not sure how it would work (again. If/when we receive Melo) without our NG contracts going out to them.
They'd sign him and trade him to us for our non-guaranteed contracts going to them along with some kind of asset, such as a 2nd round pick. Doesn't appear to be happening though. Not sure why he would want to come here at this point for scrap minutes AND per @Clutch looks like we are about to waive Ryan Kelly after finding nothing on the trade market of interest.
Would be a good depth signing. Not sure the Rockets have as many minutes to offer him as other teams, even other top ten teams.
