What asset u suggest we give up for Winslow or porter jr and y would they bother? Idk how Grabbing a psuedo center like Faried is a bad decision when all we have is psuedo center tucker, ole man Nene, and garbage chriss/hartenstein.
Didn't say it was a bad decision. I said it was a desperation move meant to curb a few losses right now. I woild have much rather preferred to take a few L's now, bite the bullet, bring in Bruno, give him minutes and see if we can get him in sync instead of Faried. We know what Faried is. We know he won't help us against the Warriors. We also know Bruno has the right skill set. What we don't know and needed to find out was how Bruno would look in the rotation. Might have cost us a couple games. I don't know. Faried sure didn't help last night. So I don't see what the big deal would have been to give Bruno a run What if....We caught fire with Bruno?? That could have potentially been a piece to use against the Warriors. I don't like the move. I understand it. But it's short term thinking. And it's to much Harden influenced. We need to move to 5 out and pick and pop. And we're dragging our feet making the necessary personnel changes to get there. And missing on guys. House should have been signed a year ago. Now we're tangled up with him. And we're signing dime-a-dozen pick-and-roll bigs to perpetuate a pick-and-roll system that won't beat the Warriors. #AlsoRans
You take back Whiteside's contract with Winslow (ego/Knight). Then you send out Chriss and Ennis to sac with a second rounder and take in Ellington. Get Miami out of the tax and give them ego. Then you sign house. Another guy. Anthony Randolph. Much better fit and bigger contributor than Faried. We've now locked up 3 roster spots on Capela, Nene, and Faried...3 rim running big men that all have to SIT DOWN for us to have any chance to beat the Warriors. That's nonsense. Unless we're trading AT LEAST one of Capela/nene or we subsequently release this year's version of Bobby Brown (Hardens little pacifier/pet player), Faried (not likely). And if Harden has to have his little sucker we could've signed Faried just as easily after the trade deadline, giving us a chance to get to real solutions and possibly catch lightning with a guy like Bruno/Randolph or some other player that can shoot the 3 and defend in the paint.
