And let the speculation begin.... Is Doc Rocket implying that all 5 of those guys will be in a Rockets uniform next season?
good lord look how badman's arms just seem to hang off of him. oh yeah luther looks a bit fruity in that picture btw
Certainly he's joking. They will have to fight for there spots. Hopefully Baxter can be a great third option at the PF. And the same goes for Luther at the point. Does anyone have stats on our summer league? I haven't really check the Rox website, maybe it's there.
Always great to have a Doc sighting. (Shame the Rox don't have a beat writer to keep us up on the latest, 'cause if the major local daily had one we'd certainly hear [something, anything] form him, at least occasionally...)
they won't all be on the team next year. head will, hopefully baxter too. my guess is that Doc meant that the 2006 Houston Rockets will dominate like the summer team did.
Wow you're good. Except I don't see Joe Crispin, Dion Glover from this link. I did find this page: http://www.************.com/article_13279.shtml But no statistics. It had this info: HOUSTON ROCKETS 2005 SUMMER PRO LEAGUE ENTRY ROSTER PLAYER POS. HT. WT SCHOOL Hollis Price G 6-1 172 Oklahoma (’03) William Avery G 6-2 180 Duke (’99) Luther Head* G 6-3 185 Illinois (’05) Pat Carroll G 6-5 190 St. Joseph (’05) Norm Richardson G 6-5 200 Hofstra (’01) Desmond Penigar F 6-7 245 Utah (’03) Chuck Hayes F 6-6 242 Kentucky (’05) Cory Violette F 6-8 255 Gonzaga (’04) David Bluthenthal F 6-7 220 USC (’02) Malick Badiane** F/C 6-11 240 Senegal (’03) Lonnie Baxter F/C 6-8 260 Maryland (’02) * --Drafted by the Rockets in the first round (24th overall) in 2005 **--Drafted by the Rockets in the second round (44th overall) in 2003
I heard from radio 610 that with his reach he just short of Yao Ming's reach. So he's got a heck of a wing span. Hopefully he can jump like swift.
That guy is DION Glover and the other Guy (White guy) is Joe Crispin. I have seen them before and know their faces. Sorry the hoopsworld thing didnt list them. Here Check out the actual Summer League Game one Box Score http://www.nba.com/media/timberwolves/jul15_ind-hou.pdf
Ahh, very good. I know summer league doesn't mean much, but it's pretty cool that the Rox kicked butt. It could mean that we'll have a pretty decent bench. Who knows, we'll see.
