    Last time this happened was 2009. Rockets lost in 7 to LA, Dallas lost in 6 to Denver.

    I think I would have liked to have played the Spurs. I don't know which team is better after that series, but I would have liked to have played the Spurs because they are the defending champions. To be the best, you have to beat the best.

    It also would have been nice to showcase Texas on the national stage. The earlier starts would have been a plus too.

    I dislike the Mavericks and don't respect them. I respect the Spurs. I dislike them as well, but I respect them. However, being that the entire SW Division made the playoffs this season, I would have like to have seen the Mavericks play someone else. So that all 3 Texas teams could have advanced, and possibly the entire SW Division (miracle for Pelicans).

    That's my Texas/division pride speaking. Seriously, we have the best division in the NBA.

    but the experts said before the season started that we'd be the first texas team out.

    i will be enjoying the pacific time zone schedule adjustments
