As an avid rockets fan, I'm not optimistic at all for the upcoming season, starting from the hiring of the coach to the draft picks that we've picked up. As far as I'm concerned, we're in a rebuilding stage and the fans need to know this. In other words, don't expect much from this team or organization to do anything or make any significant noise with the upcoming new season. If we don't pick up any impactful free agents or go after any other good players that will have some sought of impact on our team, then we're here again looking at another dismal season, the same one or worse than what we had in the one that we've just finished. This is not good fans. We deserve better than this. I've said before, we need to blow up this team, even if that means getting rid of James Harden. We're starting all over anyway, particularly when Dwight Howard is apparently opting out of his contract. We ought to at least explore our options and just see what we can get for James Harden and start over again. We just don't have enough good players as well as shooters on this roster. We need scorers and actually players that can put the ball in the basket, especially in the tough western conference. We're fooling ourselves if we think otherwise.
Yes, you're right. Most people know this implicitly (no one seriously thinks we are close to contending) but will still go crazy during he regular season. Les decided to take over this year so this is what we've got.
