Sucks to be okc to be beat by 3 or more of your former players. I really hope Houston beats the Clippers because that will sting losing to the Clippers if we lose to Bev Lou and Trez.
it doesn’t get any more elite than that the 17-18 squad would be proud the rotations, the hustle, the intensity, the phenomenal blocks by Harden and Covington...u love to see it
dont forget marcus morris jr and 2PAT...if i was doc and about to eliminate the rox, i would play all 5 the final minute
I liked the defense of the Rockets players trying to take away CP3 drives to his right. Someone posted that the day prior to game 7. Last play (ok, second to last play) had CP3 against RoCo, and RoCo did as I suggestedd. Stayed with CP3’s right hip. Forced Chris to pass. Some people owe RoCo an apology......and me think’th the Rockets read Clutchfans.
Gordon did a great job on their guards. Shame they won’t need it for the next series against the lakers... Anyone know how his defense is on bigger guys like lebron/kawhi/pg?
My post in #9 was just a subtle jab at @YOLO that young players can learn from playoff half to playoff half and from playoff game to the next playoff game. Some CF’s were saying RoCo was getting abused by CP3 at the end game 6. CP3 would seek him out and get a running start from 40 ft out. RoCo was like a deer in the headlights. I posted that RoCo needs to take away the left or right path.......don’t allow CP3 to go anywhere he wants. Whether he listened to me or the Rockets scouting reports.......fact of the matter is a young player can be burned one game; learn and adapt for the next game. Little bit of instruction can go a long way....especially in a two point differential win. Move on to the next round. Go Rockets!!
Our discussion we had about House before the playoffs.....but never mind. I’ve learned not to waste my time discussing things with you. Too hardheaded and narrow minded.
No, my post in # 9 was a subtle jab at you. Because using your logic.....D’Antoni should have pulled the rip cord on RoCo early; just like he did to House in last years playoff. When just a little bit of instruction like slow down instead of going 110 MPH, drop it down to 85 MPH. After all, House was going against the best player in the game imo at the time.....Durant. Of course House was over revved.
subtle jab at me talking about RoCo. Tf are you talking about RoCo is a 29 year old vet whose been in the league for 7 years w/ playoff experience And you're relating that to House who's a first timer rookie in the playoffs. Just stop it. those two have 0 correlation. you really @ me for that. smh
Covington played in the playoffs (in 17/18) 10 games prior to 19/20. 29 years old. House 27 played 7 games before being pulled last season. Maybe House would also have 10 games of playoff experience if allowed to continue playing in that series. Both Covington and House would have about the same number of games under their belt going into this years PO’s. Game 1 vs GSW (18/19): Shumpert: 1-4 (FG)......1-4 (3P)......1 (reb)......0 (TO).....4 (PF).......3 (pts) House:......1-4 (FG)......1-4 (3P)......3 (reb)......1 (TO).....2 (PF).......3 (pts) Using your logic Shumpert should have sat the rest of the series as well. Shumpert with all the experience didn’t mean squat guarding Durant. We had to send more defensive help with Shump guarding him. How else do you get playoff experience unless you get playing time in the playoffs. You are just a silly person. Impossible to have a real conversation with you. I won’t do it again.
