I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't more (and a lot more)... we are just learning of the $40M at this point. Doesn't matter, suspect the amount and prospective amount of years in prison will be enough to encourage Manafort's cooperation.

 

There is always the possibility that Manny aint got squat on Trump and just gets to go to jail for the full term. Sad.

Mueller seems to be kind of a badass

 

Most definitely a BADASS, Comey is no where close to Mueller.

He absolutely is. Went to an elite university and still decided to be a Marine infantry officer and did some bad ass **** in NAM including being wounded in action and receiving a Bronze Star with valor .

I am skeptical of any charge derived from the investigation itself (perjury, obstruction, etc.) Especially without accompanying charges of criminal activity that happened prior to the investigation.

The FBI can lie to you with impunity, but if you get anything wrong when you talk to them, they nail you. The purpose of talking you is to get you to commit a crime.

So never talk to them, there is zero upside. If they have questions, answer them through your attorney.

You can be certain Mueller and every other law enforcement official tells their family/friends to never talk to the police.

 

This is going over your head.

This is not a witch hunt to trap as many people as they can on menial charges.

He pled to a minor charge in a plea deal, in order to become a cooperating witness. He is likely guilty of numerous things, he is getting a pass on.

 

Don't you remember, Commodore is in Mueller's office every day? It's how he has such intimate knowledge of where the investigation stands, which he's been correct about every step of the way.

Dear Lord, imagine dying on Trump hill. It's like he's proud to stake his flag to the top of the Springfield Tire Fire.

 

You're really hung up on this idea of not talking to the FBI. I get it. Probably a good idea. But, let's not tell the bad guys that. I want the bad guys to go ahead and talk to the FBI. Or do you think Van Der Zwaan is really on the up and up and he got framed by Mueller?
