"The President's efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests"

Per Seth Abramson, if you want to cut to the heart of what's available today, go to Volume I part 3 of the report which addresses interaction with "nongovernmental" Russian nationals.

I'm sure Trump has Rosanne on the phone trying to figure out what conspiracy is involved.

Did he though? It seems like the summary statement with Barr's conclusions and the delay before releasing the report were designed to get out in front of the narrative and give cover to Congressional Republicans to do absolutely nothing once the report came out. It's going to work too because now all this will end up being is one side pointing out what seems to be a pretty clear case of obstruction throughout the course of the investigation and the other side dishing out their nothing burger memes. I'd say Barr did exactly what he was appointed to do: cover up for Trump.

That makes no sense anybody that voted for Hillary would vote for Sanders and There is a strong overlap with Trump and Berny supporters.

Add in the fact that Trump is not gaining any new supporters and there is a path for Berny.

Hope for what? "Impeachment" in itself doesn't mean Trump is removed from office. It's like a legislative indictment that the Democratic House can pursue and would likely end without a conviction in the Republican Senate.

    Whoops. Belay that.

The report states that (obstruction aside) Mueller looked only at conspiracy with Russian nationals. No other crimes.

Of course, the evidence they encountered involving any and all other crimes have been referred to other investigations.

lol, I may have to avoid this part of the forum for a while as well as the mainstream media with everyone trying to prove Trump is guilty even though we all know he has been exonerated. After just a few pages, all of the spin is as useless as it is nauseating.

The report itself clearly states that it doesn't exonerate him. Repeating the same false talking point over and over doesn't make it true.

Funny, the so-called spin you are complaining about are actual quotes from the report. Something that even the trump-appointee attorney general failed to accurately do. But sure, take a day or two off... since trump, I mean barr didn't send out the redacted report until after his public relations conference, the people are still working through the content of the report so there will be more to discuss...

I don't agree with this. A lot of moderates will not vote for Bernie Sanders. He isn't even a Democrat.

Want to know how to get Trump new supporters? Nominate Bernie Sanders.

could have understood to be crimes or that would give rise to personal and political concerns.
Oh damn isn't that just about the most vague BS.

This report is full of shade and nothing more...
