    If Mueller's investigation is concluded by Sep 1, that means any recommendations will still be getting gnawed on in the run up to the midterm. I would think a longer investigation that concludes after midterms would be better for Republicans. But that might be because I have preconceptions about what the recommendations would say.

    Trump demands a witch hunt by the DOJ (investigate DOJ/FBI for political attack on Trump Campaign). As we can see yet again, when Trump criticize something in a bad way (Mueller's investigation is a witch hunt), it's because he thought about doing it and now he's demanding one.
