Robert Griffin III, and his outstanding play so far this season. More TDs than incompletions, that is amazing stuff. DD
You think he has a shot at the Heisman??... What NFL team could develop him and give him playing time ?
If he keeps playing really well, why not? NFL teams will always take a chance on a guy that has developed himself like he has.....that shows dedication. DD
I think the debate or discussion is will he win the heisman - yes be a great NFL quarterback - probably
If the defense is good enough for them to win 10 games, he will win the heisman. I think Philly would be a great place for him. They love mobile quarterbacks, and he will get reps because Vick always gets hurt.
After all this hype, I'm really looking forward to the KSU game. On the road, first real test, will say a lot about both the team and Griff.
It may not say alot about RG because he's gonna have a high completion percentage and put up close to 400 total yards against KSU.... Now if the team loses , he will lose a lil luster in the media spotlight.... I wanna see him shred OU and OSU defense...
You don't think TCU was a test? They have a traditionally good defense and were ranked 14th at the time and only dropped because of the loss to Baylor. If you don't count the Baylor game, TCU would be ranked in the top 25 in defense.
TCU lost a lot of starters from last year, particularly on defense (6), and the game was at home. Although they may win 8-9 games (which, IMO, would be over achieving), I don't expect TCU to be very good this year, honestly. At least compared to what they have been over the last decade.
So, if it were Matt Schaub putting up numbers and losing, he's a bum... but if it's Robert Griffin, it's allright. Got it.
Then we're never going to talk, because that's something probably no pro QB has ever done. Except for Peyton Manning one time in 2004 against the Lions, whom, at that point, probably qualified as a team as horrible as Northwestern State, etc.
thank you... DM, Griffith is the Baylor offense.... Schaub is a just a piece of the puzzle.... thats the difference .... Schaub has no excuse to not lead us to the playoffs.... RG has every excuse to not have Baylor in a bowl game....
are you seriously comparing an NFL palayer to a college player?.... wouldnt expect that comin from you bro??.... You've changed!!!!
To be fair, nobody really talked about RGIII until last year when Baylor starting winning games and were ranked.
