Never short of drama surrounding Bob Griffin these days!

    'Clock's ticking' on Griffin

...unless Gruden is 'one and done'

RGIII 'not even close to good enough

    Gruden apologizes two days later

Washington has big decision to make on Griffin

I read some of this stuff Monday. Can't remember the last time a coach completely pulverized a QB like that in public.

RG3 is a dead QB in Washington and will be gone after the season. The shellacking he got from Gruden makes their relationship unsalvageable.

I really don't think Snyder will fire Gruden after one season but you can't put anything past the guy.

He said Robert didn't display basic QB fundamentals. I made the comment on a Redskins message board that if you watch Robert play and how he moves in the pocket and how he reads his receivers, it appears that he is a different QB once he knows he can be hit. In practice Gruden says RGIII shows all the signs of a great QB as far as snap counts, drop backs, foot work, reading the progression of the WRs ect.... but also in practice the defense isn't allowed to hit him.

I think once the ball is snapped he feels he doesn't have time (granted our Oline sucks) to go through his WR progressions to find the open man that he feels he has to pick one, and wait for them to get in inch open before he throws it to them. I think the injuries and all the hits have taken a toll on him mentally.

I was so high on him because of his arm, but he's lost his mojo.

He would be perfect for Bruce Arians but that extension for Palmer killed that scenario.

Disappointing we didn't get to see Colt play more. Frustrating that he led the team to 2 wins including against the best in the division on the road.

No matter where he goes he'll need an attitude adjustment.

If he was available in the draft next year.. man... I think I'd still grab him 1st round. He'd definitely grade out over any other QB available. I'm not a Gruden fan at all. Never liked him. Don't think he's a good fit with RG3. I'm not saying RG3 doesn't have warts but I don't think Gruden did him any favors.

Not with his lengthy injury history.

    Injury issues? CHECK

    Work ethic issues? CHECK

    Locker room issues? CHECK

I don't think Griffin is the type of quarterback BOB wants, but if the Texans decide to deal for him, I will understand. However, I think his value is less than you think. There were even a few scouts on the radio (including the former top scouts of the PATS and BEARS) and both said that RGIII has a mid round value in trade at this point.

Also, he really does not read the field well at all, he frustrates his receivers because he literally does not see wide open receivers.

    Shanahan crushed his career.

Next time someone talks about how some player should PLAY THROUGH INJURY
I will point to RGIII and an example of why they should not

It's crazy to me that the narrative now is that he has locker room and work ethic issues. I just didn't see that coming at all.

Well he hasn't played well and he threw the rest of his team under the bus so it's pretty easy to see why there would be locker room issues.

Wasn't commenting about us taking him. Just in general. Like I said, he has warts but so does everyone else in this years crop of QB's.

The work ethic thing has me perplexed. This is a guy that wanted to go to law school while playing his senior year. I think he has a relationship problem with Gruden (If he's anything like his brother, I can see why) which is manifesting itself in a number of ways.
