Sucks... I just got a text from a friend about it. I had just heard about their Dee Gees cover band not too long ago. His voice on this track was awesome.

I know he has had substance abuse issues in the past so that is going to be the first assumption to cause of death, but I hope I am wrong.

I read that he was found unresponsive in his hotel room. There are pictures where fans in Colombia were gathering around his hotel. And seeing tapes around the hotel, but very few officers that is likely the case of a solved case. Whatever the find, sad news, but I could see D.Grohl sing and drum.

I don’t think they continue long term without him.

This is just so shocking! I can’t believe it. I wonder if that is the end of the Foo Fighters? Dave and company has to be in some unimaginable pain right now. So sad and devastating. I’ll never forget his enthusiasm for Neil Peart and Rush. It’s only been a little over two years since Neil died. Unreal. RIP

I never knew this, always seemed like a happy person and never gave a vibe that he was addicted to anything hardcore

This is so shocking....RIP Taylor Hawkins

Heroin laced with fentanyl is the story going around.

The NY Post article says, "Taylor had complained of chest pains to hotel staff, according to reports".

Sounds like BS but could be. Some of the stories are saying an ambulance was called when he complained about chest pains but he was found dead on arrival and they couldn't revive him. But, then they also seem to say he was found dead alone. I guess he could have called out from his bed to alert the staff he was having chest pains.

He had three children ages 16, 13, and 8. I hope he didn't decide that, since he was in Columbia, he would partake in some cocaine or whatever.

In my opinion, anyone who cuts any drug with Fentanyl and then sells that drug as the original substance before it was cut is a murdering scumbag. No one is going around advertising they are selling, for example, Oxy pills cut and pressed with Fentanyl to increase profits. People buying and taking pills or whatever on the street might as well just toss a coin on whether they will live or die after taking it.
