Conroy and Hamill as Batman and Joker. That is Batman, none of the live action or animated Batman portrayals have come close. RIP
Rest in Peace, sad to hear. Really enjoyed the series as a kid and appreciate Conroy's and others' character voice work. Animation still holds up well
That was a great video, thanks for sharing. I didn't know just how many decades and shows he did as the voice of Batman.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Batman:_The_Animated_Series_episodes This has the original air dates. The show was daily until partway through the second season (the first season had over half the episodes of the total run). You can see how Fox screwed up by airing the episodes out of order. I remember reading that they were having trouble keeping up with the schedule which is why they ditched the painted title cards for later episodes.
I usually rewatch the show at least once a year and its still great. Its a huge loss to the comic media world. He has loved by so many and I have heard at the cons that he was great with the fans. He wrote a story in the dc pride issue this year about his life and how he hid his sexuality because he thought or was told his career was finished if he came out. Fun fact he was Robin Williams roommate at Julliard.
This one hit a hard, he's been the voice of Batman for me since the original animated series thru newer projects. I hadn't heard he was sick or anything so it totally came out of left field.....you'll be missed Mr Conroy but at least have a ton of his work to enjoy and appreciate.....
