RIAA allows family 60 days to grieve

    Not necessarily. They are essentially trying to collect from his estate before it is passed on to the heirs. It would work like a lien.

    RM95, I believe most suits have been against uploaders, not downloaders. Knowing nothing about this case, I'm assuming they were suing for upload activity. In which case, he may have more money in his estate from not spending money on music, but the activity they are suing for -- uploading -- had no effect on the size of his estate.
