So I posted this poll to try and bring some good karma to this BBS and all some people can do is complain about the poll. So I've revised it to include some options and removed the one obvious choice (The KOD), and the least favorite (Olajuwon's block on Strickland).

Clutch, if you could please take down the other poll, thanks.

If you removed the one obvious choice shouldn't this thread be the "SECOND Greatest Single Game Moment in ROX History"?

The 13 in 35 was damn close to a ride ride.

Well, he's right. It's not the greatest moment we're voting on if you removed the landslide winner.

Obviously I know he's right, just don't have the power to change the title.

Next to Kiss of Death, Sampson's miracle in 86 is the hands down choice for me. It is what turned me into a die-hard fan.

I think it is hard to argue how the Kiss of Death and Sampson's miracle should be anything but #1 and #2 respectively.

This is the REVISED poll. In the original poll the "Kiss of Death" was murdering the competition, so it was left out of this one. That way we get to see (besides the KoD) what everyone's favorite moment was.

omg 13 in 35 should murder kiss of death. You will see game winning shots as long as you watch NBA. you will NEVER and i mean NEVER see anything that even remotely compares to 13 in 35. That was the most ridiculous show I have seen in my life. Who else was about ready to turn off the TV, when TMac decided I'm bored and I want to win tonight?

    I will have to agree

13 in 35 was better than reggie's performance 8 in 13 or something just since its 4 3's plus that foul TD commited

    AMAZING...THat play made my month

    For me:
    1. KOD
    2. Olajuwon blocks Starks
    3. Shot Heard Round the World
    4. Eddie at the buzzer
    5. Bamboozled performance
    6. 13 in 35

The playoff implications are so much bigger than just a routine regular season game.

non playoff/ championship run moments should not even be included, mcgrady scoring 13 pts was awesome, but it's not a greatest rocket moment ever. not even close

McGrady's 13 points leading the poll shows what a young group of Rocket fans are on the board. A scoring outburst in the regular season vs. Championship winning moments seems a little short sided IMHO.

If there would have been a Yao Ming moment on the poll I would guess that it would have won in a landslide.

Kiss of Death sealed off the comeback from being down 3-1, and owning Barkley yet AGAIN. As far as most important shots in Rockets history, I think that's definitely #1. Most important moment though, I'd go with Hakeem with the block on Starks at the end of game 6.

All great, but I still love Ralph Sampson's shot...I remember it just like it was yesterday...Staying up late with my Dad, yelling and jumping up and down...sweet...

    But who can forget this...
