    Oh god, I just switched over and heard him give a stock line about activist judges.

    i can't tell you much this type of uneducated lowest common denominator bullsh-t and the flimsy reasoning behind hurts anybody with legal training. It's sad and depressing. He's telling the audience "I'm going to pick people who I think will try to make things come out the way you want them to be, constitution be damned!" and the zealots just eat it up. For f-ks sake that is just sad.

    But for moderates, I think this is a *far* more effective and appealing speech. McCain's not an exciting speaker, but people don't expect him to be.
