Define "Southern African Americans" Is that people that came here from South Africa? Namibia? Botswana? Zimbabwe? Swaziland? You have to be more specific...
I have two thoughts on this issue: 1. It's correctly spelled "reparations" 2. Do a search. This topic has already been discussed excessively.
What if I am white, and I am poor? Do I still have to pay? But also, why should I pay you. You havent worked for me, and I havent had slaves.
What exactly is meant by "we take there stuff?" Where is "there?" I think you should demand reparations for the education you recieved.
ummmmmm....let's see.....one side of my mom's family, we are related to Jefferson Davis, first president of the confederacy....but most of her relatives were poor irishmen who came to america because the catholics had hung a relative of theirs who was a protestant minister. they competed with freed African Americans for jobs, but we actually have the honorable discharge papers of those we came immediately over and fought for the Union. someone please work out a pro rata share of what i owe. thanks!
I missed the slavery reparations thread, and I can't find it using the search feature. What was the general consensus?
All currently living African Americans who were subjected to slavery in the United States of America before the Emancipation Proclamation, please contact me at the e-mail address listed under my profile. I will gladly provide reparations on behalf of Whitey.
Thanks for the link Mango. Aside from Rocket River being a complete psycho, I think that discussion was enlightening.
