Other follies include: 1. FG at the end of the 1st half snapped with 0 seconds left on the playclock. 2. Missed false start called offsides which turns into a long TD pass.
Not that it mattered but on that last INT play, the Cowboys had 12 men on the field and it didn't get called. Demeco was screaming at the ref when the Cowboys were kneeling down.
Not blaming them, but the missed false start was huge. Saying that we definitely made many more mistakes.
refs were bad for both sides. they also blew that defensive pass interference on us that would have been a td for the cowboys in the first quarter. i think it was dez bryant and kareem jackson. the play where dez was pushed out of bounds.
We got outplayed! Evidently we didn't show up. I sometimes wonder if the team feels the importance to the city of this game as much as the fans.
You're right about the blown defensive pass interference, but if the call would have been pass interference, it would have placed the ball at the 1 or where ever the interference occurred.
I love the one on the last interception where the Texans snapped the ball and Dallas clearly had a defender running off the field (but still on the field) so they had too many men on the field, yet the INT still counted.
Texans didn't deserve a win out there, but the horrible playcalling didn't help. Texans played horrible yesterday and still managed to hang within a touchdown (that FG at the half shouldn't have counter) for half the game. Couple that with the r****ded refs...
Can't believe how important this game was for "America's Team", and playing a 2-0 Texans team... and the NFL sends a second-rate officiating team... Why couldn't we get a better team?
