Browsing through the music threads I wanted to see if I could get some Clutchfans help.

I don't know many of the newer indie bands, but my son plays lead guitar in a indie band located in Denver, CO

The band is called Red Fox Run, they just got their first EP up on Itunes, Amazon etc.

Wanted to know if some would take a listen and give me your opinion.

Here is a review of their first EP from Colorado Music Buzz Magazine -

"Red Fox Run channels the fine points of modern rock with their new album, [take] ctrl. The mixing and mastering on the album are very clean, making for a record that is easy to listen to and clean sounding. Their style is a bit of a mish-mash of Kings of Leon, Black Keys and garage rock bands like the Strokes and the Killers.

Strong guitar parts from Joshua Hester fit melodically behind Daniel Rondeau’s swooning but wildly untamed rock and roll voice. “Signs,” the third track on the album, stuck out the most with two very distinct guitar parts, and a 93.3-ish indie-rock sound that, while present throughout the record, stood out prominently in this song.

“I’m Okay” starts off with a picking guitar riff as Rondeau sings a slower song than most on the album. His voice at times reminds me of Jay Hernandez from Aloft in the Sundry. This record is a must-have for fans not only of indie rock, but mellow alternative bands like Coldplay as well."

    Thanks for any comments, rhester
