well, looks like things are going to get a little more interesting in the next 2 days up here in East Tx...
I've got to say, this snow in TX is crazy. Dallas has set a record for the amount of snow this season. Crazy. Got an inch of so in an hour and a half...more or less, so far in Nac. Been raining ice pellets all day on and off till the snow started at night.
yeah, i'm guessing it's about on par (relatively) now with us in DC. Both places setting snow records for the area, so neither place is/was prepared to handle it well at all. DC has made things passable finally, and the federal government opens tomorrow (2 hours late with liberal leave) after being off Mon-Thurs!
The Dallas area got about 10-12" of snow in the last 24 hours... this was nuts for North Texas! Like Uprising said, it's a record.
We got around 5 or so inches, some areas higher during the night. Supposed to get about another 1/2-1 inch before it all moves out this morning. Still coming down. Area schools are closed....(doesn't take much I guess...)
WHOOOO!!!! What I"ve been waiting for all morning! Campus Alert Classes cancelled today. :grin: :grin: :grin: My exams can wait till MOnday
