Hopefully, Oswalt will toss another gem tonight and keep the Rangers lineup baffled.

This is it. This is when we turn the season around.

Before the all-star break, Beltran will have a 20+ game hitting streak, a seemingly throw-in in the Hidalgo deal will have two wins, Bagwell's bat will heat up, and, best of all, Gagne will blow a save.

We'll be in the wild card position come the all-star break. It all starts this weekend.

    BELIEVE!!!!

Luckily, the wild card is still wide open.

We need to make a statement here and sweep a good team. Hopefully I'll bring some luck to the ballpark on Sat night!

If the Astros followed everyone's predictions before each series, their record would be around 65-15. Everyone always picks them to win either all the games in the series, or to lose just one.

No more optimism from me. I just see no signs of turning anything around at this point.

A big fat sweep by the Rangers. :(

I love the optimism. GO STROS!

Why the hell does Ryan Drese have a better era then Roy? This season doesn't make any sense.

Lucky for us, Kenny Rogers isn't starting this weekend... so expect good things from the offense, especially with Beltran in a hitters park.

And fon't forget, Sunday is "Throwback" day and they will be wearing the 70's rainbow garb. WOOT!

No kidding? Thats going to be freaking cool! If we score more then 6 runs and win while wearing them then they stay on until we lose.

LLL - At this point the only way the Astros can win is if the pitchers throw a shutout or Beltran homers 3 times...

i think at this point i'd rather see a 12-11 loss than a 2-1 win

A win is a win is a win is a win. Count em up in the end.

I know what you mean, though. Hey...it's 1-2 after the 1st inning so maybe we score mucho runs tonite? Let us pray.

With the way we've been batting, you gotta get runs whenever you can. Good job Jimy.

I have a feeling that Ensberg is going to hit a HR this series.

Thanks for repeating something I've been feeling EVERY FREAKIN SERIES of the year.... hell, I'm thinkin about it two spots before he comes up to bat.

If you look at my old thread, "The season will turn around when...," you'll notice that him doing this was #1 on my list.

I think the key is not to think about it... hell.... expect a strikeout every time up, and maybe he'll suprise you.
