What about the people before him? You think he was the first white/hispanic farmer that was sent to her?

But she did and from what she and the farmer say she did an excellent job at it.

Can you prove that she was influenced by race? The case in questions she got over race and did her job.

There is a more basic question here though which is whether you believe that people can change. From my own personal experience I believe people can and in a case like this without factual evidence otherwise I think this is a case of that.

Leaving aside though whether she honestly has changed her views or not I have yet to see any evidence that she did her job in a manner that would betray bias.

 

Sure people can change, but I don't understand why you think this white farmer was the first one sent to her. It is great she had enough brains to see how dumb she was but I am seriously doubting that happened on her first day on the job.

 

As I said earlier we don't know if that was the first white /hispanic farmer sent to her or not. We don't know her history in that job and as this situation should show we shouldn't jump to a negative conclusion based on limited knowledge.

If you know what her job history was and can show a pattern of bias I would be interested in seeing that.

 

Uhhh, she admitted that she "changed" right? this means previous to the "change" her feelings were biased. Agree?

If your argument is this white farmer came on her first day of work I just find that highly unlikely.

 

so someone shouldn't have a job because of how they performed twenty four years ago, when the victims (the white farmers) even come to her defense?

 

What is the relevance? Do you believe all people who were formerly racist/sexist/etc should never hold any future jobs? What does the fact that she may have been racist in 1985 have to do with whether she should hold a job today?

 

I don't care if she has her job or not. My only argument is the victim is not the white farmer in her story but the non-black farmers that were sent to her before this moment of clarity.

so someone has not a lot of experience dealing with people of other races from themselves, and they are uncomfortable, and in their first experience they come to the realization they are wrong. and your problem is what?

 

Please find a post where I said i had a problem with anything other than the previous farmers I suspected she screwed. Otherwise stop trolling me, it is annoying and gets in the way of discussions I am trying to have with other posters without agendas like SC and Major.

 

The moral of this story - never admit to your past discriminatory behaviors - even if it was a lifetime ago.
