R u f'ng kidding me? There wouldn't be a name called Clutch City if we cruised through the playoffs. Watch the Suns series both championship seasons. Watch double Clutch. If ever there was a team that shouldn't have been there but proved they belonged there. It was the Rockets 93-95.
Hell yes it was. 1995 Finals Game 1 vs the Magic in Orlando. We were getting destroyed and ended up coming back and pulling it out in OT.
Yep the first one I actually got married the day of the 7th game and raced home after the reception to plant my ass in front of the TV and hard a mini coronary when we won !!! It was AWESOME !!! Tonight's game was big a huge heat check and statement but it won't mean much if we cant force them to stay in the series in game 6 if we lose at home in game 5 so the team has a tall task but I know they can win game 5 and force the W's into desperation mode !!!!
Being down 0-2 to Phoenix going to Phoenix...what do you think? I was at the game for what was at the time the biggest comeback in playoff history. Effn Majerle and his fake tan!
clutch city 2 won more road games, faced more elimination games, and i believe had more 4th quarter comebacks than any other championship team in nba history... so if you think this is nerve wrecking... man you would've died back then.
That's why they call it Clutch City. Man, the misery and the elation are tied together. That's why I keep putting up with it year after year. The more the losses hurt, the better the win feels.
