I saw a picture of him a while back of him at a club. He had no shirt on. Poor guy can't even afford clothes now.

Jeff Fisher should have used the offense that made VY a star in college, instead of trying to turn him into the next Peyton Manning.

Do what the Dolphins, Colts, Redskins, and Panthers are doing right now, and make the transition easier for a young QB

VY was never known as a thrower.

waste of talent.. or mismanaged... i dunno which too choose

This. Add lazy too. He was his own worst enemy. Blaming Jeff Fisher for VY's lack of work ethic, lack of brains and off the field problems is crazy.

Vince Young can't blame anyone but himself. Some of his fans will never see that.

It kinda sounds like you're offended that he's not reaching his potential. Most people from his background would probably end up in the same position. Hell if I was from his background I'd probably not end up maximizing my talents. He's just a guy. Only the special ones ever make it; he's not one of them.

I'm not offended at all. I'm disappointed that all that physical talent was wasted on a guy too lazy, stubborn and stupid to do anything with it. He's almost hit rock bottom now and he still has no humility.

Physically he was one of the special ones....

He didn't make it. Most players don't make it in the NFL. Tim Tebow might be the hardest worker in the NFL he still can' throw the ball. He did win ROY and went to two probowls. I bet that is more than most 1st round picks end up doing.

Vince Young had a very successful run. It was Jeff Fisher who didn't want him there. Yet Vince saved his job not once, but twice, by coming in a running the table after Kerry Collins, his guy, went a combined 0-9. He turned two teams around by himself. He won rookie of the year. He went to two probowls. He won as qb more than any other Titans qb in history. And if you look at his 4th quater comebacks he grades better than Elway, Montana, and Marino, and not by a small margin, but by a large margin. To think that he failed is a media concoction. I find it funny that during his winning strek he was a hard worker. Then when he's losing he's not. That was a joke. Truth is probably somewhere in the middle. But the facts are that Vince had a very successful run at QB.

This is a sad story and one that isn't that rare for professional athletes. They get a ton of money young and then lose it all shortly after leaving pro-sports.
