Astros chance of winning the division: 6%
Astros chance of making the playoffs: 84%

    There's your answer.

    Go Texas! (barf)

The Dbacks unfortunately losing today likely means the Friday contest with Houston will carry great meaning. Their magic number remains 2 with the Cubs. Let's go Braves!

I'll first pull for Texas to win. Houston has not been in any position lately to show they can consistently win 2 out of 3 (much less a sweep) and with Arizona losing today they still need to fight for the Wild Card.

However, if Houston wins tomorrow and Seattle has already won the first two games then I may root for the sweep.

Arizona is going to be tough. They better not go in there too comfortable because winning there is far from a given.

Seattle. Would still like a shot at the division, and I don’t think it’s as far-fetched of a possibility as some might paint it because I can definitely see a desperate Seattle team taking 3 of 4 at home. Some early relevant results from this Thursday afternoon already: Arizona lost to the ChiSox so they unfortunately still haven’t clinched. And Minnesota lost to Oakland 2-1. This is only relevant because Minnesota entered the day 1.5 games behind The Astros while also owning the tie-breaker should they have both ended the season as division champs with the 2-seed and a 1st RD Bye on the line. Minnesota is now a full 2 games back of Houston. The Astros need to take care of their own business, not hope to fall into the playoffs based on another team’s futility. Sweep the f’in DBacks and send Brent Strom a “Miss ya’ “ card to,the opposing dugout

Minnesota game didn’t matter either way…we have to sweep Arizona to win the division in which case Minnesota couldn’t catch up.

Fck them both. I'm only rooting for the Astros to win, let the chips fall where they may regarding the other 2 teams.

Don't care for either, Astros need to take care of business and win 2 if not 3 vs Arizona.... Those two other dumbass teams can do whatever, I don't care...

Cubs continue the meltdown in Atlanta.

Magic number will be down to 1 for AZ if that score holds up.

Hopefully the Cubs are losing 10-0 tomorrow by the time our game starts.

Why didn't Kansas City win the last 3 games after sweeping the Astros? This season is weird

This is like 00's Spurs vs Lakers for me

    It's a shame they both can't lose

The only way Seattle victories help is if the Astros sweep.

    Consider that, then answer.
